Velibor is fantastic! He is super knowledgeable and cares about the craft way beyond what you'd normally expect. I had a painting balayage and cut and walked out looking like a star. Highly recommend.

Velibor is good at his job and loves what he's doing. He cares about his clients and makes sure that you are happy with the results. He answers any questions you have about your hair or methods and techniques he uses to color your hair. He pays close attention to detail. He asks all the necessary questions about your hair before your appointment so he knows exactly how and what to prepare for. Contacting him and explaining what I wanted was very easy, booking the appointment was easy, and overall, he's good company while you spend hours together as he does your hair. I highly recommend him if you're looking to do a balayage. He seems familiar with all types of colors if you're looking for a natural look or something more drastic. He's friendly and professional. I loved the results, my hair looked so beautiful in the end I wanted to cry. The color is as beautiful as I imagined!

I've been looking for a good colorist/stylist for a while because I was hesitant about my hair being handled. After searching for a while, I came across Velibor on yelp and read every review and looked at every picture. I was comfortable after reading and decided to contact him. When I contacted Velibor, he was so sweet and was immediately helpful. I made an appointment for the following day for balayage and upon entering the salon, Velibor made me very comfortable. Fast forward to after the process, my hair looks amazing!!! I cannot thank Velibor enough. I've gotten so many compliments and will definitely be seeing him again. I would recommend him to anyone looking for someone who is knowledgeable, careful and amazing at hair.

I've been getting what a previous salon is been telling me is balayage but Velibor was kind enough to explain what the technique really is. I first Velibor at 34 Studio in NYC and I had taken his advice about my hair and it worked out perfectly. I normally do not go back to the same stylist, but when I wanted to get my hair done again, I was told he was no longer working there and I was devastated. I went searching for him and was so happy when I did. I have since gone back to him. I trust his work. My hair hasn't been this good for a long time. Other stylists have "fried" my hair. I travel from the Bronx all the way to Kew Gardens. I am totally pleased with his work.

I met Velibor during the Kew Gardens sidewalk art day a few months ago, and got his card which I quickly lost. But, because of his high-energy, and telling me to "look on Yelp for Velibor the Serbian" he made an impression and I was able to find him. I've lived here now for 2 years and have been seeking out a salon. He had such a positive welcoming attitude I knew I wanted an appointment. So this week I used Yelp messaging and got an appointment two days later. So today I'm so thrilled! My color was a mess, and I certainly needed trim/cut/shape. I'm very happy with the time he took with me and would recommend! I'll definitely be back.

Velibor does absolutely amazing work! His balayage technique is one of a kind and like no other... he is truly a master stylist. The years of experience and expertise he holds is very difficult to find. His hours are flexible and he sticks to his appointment times; he doesn't make his clients wait around. He's an honest and an extremely vibrant individual and a pleasure to have as my stylist for the past year and a half.

When I moved to Kew Gardens I found it very difficult to get a good haircut. After my wife colored her hair with Velibor and saw how skillful he was she recommended him to me. I thought I would give it a try and stopped to get a haircut. It was amazing and since that day i decided to follow him everyhere he goes. Velibor was a godsend. He fixed my hair after a major mistake that a previous Salon made and was able to accommodate me without a problem. Velibor is truly a man that has honed in on his craft and talent working on myself. He knows his technique and the science of hair color and control. Velibor was able to magically transform a non-existent blue to a blue that pops and stops people complimenting me. I naturally have brown hair but always dye it midnight blue. I love having dark hair but wanted a pop of color. Velibor gave me a beautiful blue balayage which still showed my dark hair in a natural and comfortableway. Velibor accommodated me to his private section in Giorgio's where he displayed professionalism and proided a quality experience. We laughed A LOT and I am happy to say that I found my new hairstylist! He listens and cares about his clients to ensure they get what theyre looking for. The price for the balayage was very affordable and less expensive than previous salons I've been to.
